点评：The front reception staff were incredibly friendly, and the zoo itself was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for.
However, our experience in the zoo café was disappointing. A young girl and young boy were working there, and the girl’s attitude was poor. When we asked for something, she laughed, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive.
More concerning was the apparent lack of food safety standards. There was a large black container of chicken sitting uncovered on the worktop while the sun was beaming directly onto it. Chicken is not a food that should ever be mishandled, and leaving it sitting out in the heat is completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous.
In my opinion, if a food hygiene inspection had taken place at that moment, serious action would have been taken. Neither member of staff appeared to have a proper understanding of food safety or hygiene procedures. This is a significant concern, as poor food handling practices can put customers’ health at risk.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training to ensure food is stored and handled safely in future.
