点评：We visited Ailwee caves to see Santa recently with our children aged 4,5 and 8. The Santa was very good in comparison to other experiences we’ve had. He actually interacted with the children and asked questions which was nice. It is a nice festive environment however, a couple of pitfalls for us. There was a family with a very young child in our group who was obviously terrified of going down into a dark cave. (I Would urge parents to consider this when booking)The child screamed and cried for a good portion of the cave visit which I personally just found to be overstimulating and ruined my experience. There was also a very long wait on the way to see Santa. Like just standing in the cave and the elves were asking the children questions but we were waiting so long it started to get dull and the elves were even repeating themselves 😅 then as it is a group experience, it takes a long time for Santa to see every child. Our kids were bursting for the toilet by the time we got out and then we were rushing to go and see the birds of prey show as it is on a couple of specific times per day. Overall it was ok. €185 for 2 adults and 3 children which felt steep. The bird show sort of saved it for us.
