Shocking Santa
Hever Castle & Gardens的点评
点评：We visited Hever Castle for the Christmas experience in December 24. We were repeat customers having visited several times before but this year's was a massive disappointment.
They decided to scale back the physical grotto this year cutting out the whole toy workshop and it was much more sparsley decorated. It was obvious there was more than one santa and the big man was inside a very bare and basic shed. The magic was missing. The Santa was also very inappropriate with our young children (2 and 5) offering to bring them half eaten sweets and requesting we left out 3 pickled eggs and a packet of cheese and onion crisps instead of mince pies. The whole interaction was all about him. When we came out my little boy said santa is weird. I contacted Hever and then didn't get back to me until I chased them up saying they were sorry I was disappointed but didn't actually apologise or take ownership for anything. It was only after a viral reel on my social media that I was actually given a proper apology and my children's tickets refunded. Our full days spend came in at over £200 by the time we had bought food and spent extra for rides. We were offered tickets for next year but we wont be returning as I will be looking for more magic.
