Disappointing if going for Halloween
Hever Castle & Gardens的点评
点评：We visited yesterday which was the first day of half term and start of their Halloween activities. We loved the gardens and castle and had a lovely day but if you have younger children that are expecting Halloween then they will be disappointed and it was a real letdown. There were a few tiny displays dotted about the gardens with letters for a trail and a few men dressed up as skeletons walking about but that was it nothing at all in the castle or any activities. We had no idea where to return the completed trail and it wasn’t even mentioned when we arrived it was only after we had walked past a couple of the displays that I noticed it on the map so we ended having to walk back to find those letters. No one at the ticket booths when we left at 3 o clock so kids didn’t get a sweet. We have visited Leeds castle a few times at Halloween in the past and I would highly recommend going there over Hever castle if that’s the main purpose of the trip as they really go all out to entertain the children and some lovely displays and actors etc. Overall loved the castle and was very informative so will definitely come back at some point
