Dinosaur Expeditions CIC的点评
点评：We enjoyed a 2 hour beach trip led by Oliver, followed by a trip to the museum.
The beach trip consisted of a talk on the different types of fossils to look for, then a guided tour and fossil hunt on the beach. We were then shown a selection of various dinosaur footprints, as well as the island's newest chine. To note is that there are no toilets at the beach but we used those a 2 minute drive away at Compton Bay.
We headed onto the museum which is small but fascinating, showcasing a variety of dinosaur fossils many of which have been found locally. My children enjoyed the dinosaur drawing / colouring in and fossil search. They were delighted to be able to bring some shark teeth home with them that they had sifted and found in the sand tray.
The location of both attractions (a 5 minute drive apart) is in an absolutely beautiful part of the island with gorgeous views of the cliffs and sea.
All in all a lovely day which I would highly recommend.
