点评：Amazing Early Morning Sting Ray Tour
Six Senses early morning tour was simply amazing. It was an early start at 07:30, but we feel that made a big difference. Our condo at Discovery Point was only a 5 minute drive from the dock which together with the early start made it an obvious choice.
We were greeted with to an exceptional welcome by PJ. Captain Hotshot was a very safe pair of hands steering the boat through slightly choppy water.
It took us just under half an hour to arrive at the sandbar and it was so worth it. Because of the early hour our boat was the only one there right until when we were preparing to depart. Then other boats started to arrive. That meant that we had all the rays to ourselves and once in the water we were instantly surrounded by tens of sting rays.
Rodney was excellent in guiding us in how to feed the rays and his knowledge of them was very extensive telling us about their life cycle and their feeding habits. It truly was a Sting Ray City as masses of rays rubbed themselves against us, all wanting to be the first one to get tasty morsels. Captain Hotshot was also directing from the boat ensuring that we felt extremely safe.
Shortly afterwards we arrived at the snorkelling reef which was swarming with multicoloured fish enjoying early morning feeding.
Having a buoyancy vest fitted before entering the water made underwater observations effortless as you didn't need to concentrate on staying afloat.
Our third stop was at starfish point, which enabled us to study the fish in very shallow water.
We would highly recommend this Six Senses Early Bird tour. Tours later in the day are likely to be busier. We felt that safety was closely observed at every point and the captain always advised us where to sit to enjoy the best viewpoint.
If only we had more time, we would take the same tour again with Captain Hotshot, Rodney and PJ.
