Beautiful horses
Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park的点评
点评：The place is lovely and the horses are beautiful, but the activities for children and adults don’t seem to dovetail.
An example was that our grandchildren wanted to hold rabbits but the benches were full of adults. This was supposed to be an activity for little kids but they were told if they weren’t sitting down, they wouldn’t be able to hold a rabbit.
Same with the carriage rides, a queue formed almost as soon as it was announced but when we tried to join the queue there was a board stating that all the carriage rides were now full for the day. As only 8 or 10 people were allowed on the carriage at one time I estimate that the people at the end of the queue were likely to be standing there for at least an hour, possibly longer. Surely there is a better way of ensuring that everyone who wants to can get a go without having to stand in line for so long?
The food and drinks were really good (hog roast rolls with stuffing and apple sauce) and they really enjoyed feeding the animals. The introduction to the horses was good and the other activities for children (go carts and play areas) were excellent.
