Great place and even better people especially Mark!

点评：What a great day!
I’ve been before, but it was the first time with my parents and daughter and she loved having nanny and grandad with her to ride the trains!
Summers favourite train is the small train that you ride on! And Mark the driver was incredible, he went the extra mile to make my daughter feel special and got the whole train involved in shouting as her drove round the loop! Shouting to Barry the shark and making as much noise int he tunnel as possible! ……. And this wasn’t just Mark on a “good day” his enthusiasm and zest for his job is clear and he was as excited on the first loop as he was on Summers 6th time round!
His efforts deserve recognition because he really made a difference to our day!
The only slight bit of constructive feedback was we rode the train down to the picnic and paddle area to enjoy a picnic and play and then catch the train back to the main park. However due to the train being full of passengers who didn’t disembark we weren’t able to get on, and there wasn’t another train due for an hour! ….. the driver was incredibly polite and kind and apologetic but it didn’t change the fact we had to take the woodland walk back (which was beautiful!) however my parents are both in their 70s and the path wasn’t really suitable as was very uneven!
I think the main issue was there was a school group on the train and they didn’t intend to get off…. Maybe to prevent this happening if there are large groups booked in maybe consider setting an additional train to prevent people from being stranded at the end of the line with no toilets and no option but to walk back!
It certainly won’t put us off though and I’m sure we will be back!!!

唯一一点建设性的反馈是我们坐火车去了野餐和划桨区，享受了野餐和玩耍，然后乘火车回到了主公园。然而，由于车厢里挤满了未下车的乘客，我们没能上车，而且一小时内也没有下一班火车！……司机非常有礼貌、友善，也向我们表示了歉意，但这并没有改变我们不得不沿着林间小路走回去的事实（这条路很美！）。然而，我的父母都70多岁了，那条路不太适合走，因为路很不平坦！
我认为主要的问题是火车上有一个学校团体，他们不打算下车……如果订票人数较多，为了防止这种情况发生，或许可以考虑加开一班火车，这样就不会有人被困在终点站，没有厕所，只能走回去了！
不过，这肯定不会让我们却步，我相信我们还会再来的！！！
