点评：We booked 2 nights in Shepherds Purse, for myself, my husband and our 2 teen children. We live half an hour away and were looking for somewhere to chill out for a few nights. We were greeted by Anne on arrival and shown around the Turnip tent, fully equipped with a section and fridge for each yurt. 3 large wheelbarrows are provided to bring your luggage to unpack - perfect. The yurt was clean and very comfortable, we had enough wood provided for the log burner for 2 nights, we had brought some with us which provided heat for the hot tub for the duration of our stay. (The hot tub takes about 3 hours to heat up so get it going straight away!) We mainly stayed on site for our weekend, a few walks and the in hot tub, chilling out and reading (good 4G too).
The only thing (and it is minor) is the toilets and showers aren’t great. One shower and toilet are allocated to the yurts without en-suite. The toilets are a portacabin style, very small, but clean. I expected them to be key coded, to keep them for just your family during the stay. The showers are in another block, and are fairly open, so on a chilly morning/evening, it’s cold! Again one allocated to your yurt. There is a hook next to the cubicle but some shelving / mirror would be a nice touch, to freshen up when showering. That said, they were lovely and clean, the site is maintained beautifully and we had a lovely stay. 100% would recommend for a chilled out weekend.
