Fantastic 'Christmas At Westonbirt' Event!

点评：We like to visit Westonbirt Arboretum every now and then and have been several times over the years. Last year we booked tickets to their 'Christmas at Westonbirt' event and visited in December. I was really looking forward to it as I read it was being organised by the team behind 'Christmas at Kew.'
The illuminated lights trail was brilliant! Each area of the trail was themed with accompanying music and various refreshments along the way, including delicious hot chocolate, donuts and marshmallows. Our 8 year old daughter loved that she could toast her own over the fire!
After a lovely wander through all of the fantastic lights displays we made our way to the gift shop and the play area (in the dark) before heading to the funfair. My husband and daughter both enjoyed their time on the gorgeous vintage ferris wheel and dodgems before grabbing some yummy food from one of the many food vans/huts.
My favourite part of the evening though was seeing Santa chatting to all of the children at the end of the trail. Our daughter's face lit up as she saw him and loved that she got to speak to him that night. Such a special part for the children.
I don't know what Westonbirt Arboretum's Christmas event will look like this year, but if it's anything like this then I 100% recommended it to everyone - especially those with younger children.
