点评:Here are a few tips before you visit:
If you plan on going to the cave, plan ahead. They only have space for 16 people on a cave tour and they run 8 tours a day. The tickets will sell out fast. Better to go on a weekday than the weekend.
I would recommend that you wear hiking boots, more so for support, then need. The hike to the entrance of the cave is paved the entire way so you don’t have to navigate over rocks and tree roots. It is a steep incline, but you do have an hour and a half to make it to the cave entrance.
Make sure to get the earliest time available. Our tickets were for 8:45AM and the cave tour started at 10:15. Most of our hike was in the shade. Later in the day, the hike will be sunny and going up will be brutal. When we exited the cave, going back down was sunny and started to get hot. Make sure to bring water with you. If you forget, they do sell water bottles and you can fill them up at the natural springs tap that they have.
We’ve been to about many national parks and monuments. Our tour was lead by Ranger Andy, and he was probably the best ranger we have ever encountered. Very knowledgeable and funny at the same time. You will be lucky to get him!
If these tips were helpful, please let me know!
