点评:If you want to visit a tranquil, beautiful German town, carry on reading. The pictures you see on the Internet do not make justice to this charming town. We went by car hoping to bump into a lovely town somewhere near Heidelberg. Low and behold! We discovered this gorgeous town. We visited on a Friday around midday and it was market day. A few locals going about their daily lives. Quiet, narrow, Medieval streets, full of flowers and very colourful and well-kept traditional houses. The main square is charming and picturesque, as well of the rest of the old town. Street after street of charm.
We parked for free on Station rd. Easy to park on the outside of the old town, not many cars on the streets. From there we walked for about 6 minutes until we got to the old town. We only saw some locals and a handful of German tourists. We had a coffee and freshly baked traditional kuchen at the Riegler bakery on the main square for a very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommended!
It was a unforgettable visit!
