Great park avoid the Boda Borg

点评：Lough key forest park is great for camping if a little chaotic. The staff are friendly and the pitches have plenty of space even if they aren’t marked out. The kitchen is excellent and there is tons to do in and around the park. I would have given it 5 stars… The one downside (and a big one) is the Boda Borg. An activity so ghastly it would lead to family breakdown. The faux American framing as a spiritual quest would be bearable if they gave you some sense of what the tasks were and how they might be solved. Instead you are dumped into a set of puzzles that are more idiotic than cryptic. We eventually cracked and asked for help and the solution was so idiotic we just left. We’d done escape rooms before but this was like a fever dream. Take a boat on the lake or do the brilliant zip wires. But skip Boda. It’s painful and if people tel you they enjoyed it, it’s because they are too embarrassed to admit they spent 100 quid being confused - or maybe they cheated and googled the answers
