Firstly the building itself is great.
There's a cafe which I did not use. Nice to see a workshop for kids going on.
The Yeats pictures were wonderful. A rich variety.Buthaving got used to snap like mad in the museums of Verona and Toulouse, it was a shock not to be allowed to take photos. The Yeats family must be paranoid about copyright. There was a very useful sheet explaining the context of the pictures. But nothing on the walls beside each picture. A big mistake. The picture of the wake and the boat was haunting. Brilliant!
The modern exhibition didn't grip me. There was no buzz about the place. So different from France and Italy.
So that's why I dropped a star.
