Comino Cruise - A Poor Experience

点评：We booked the all day cruise to Comino and the Blue Lagoon through Jet2Go, who are normally in our experience excellent. We were picked up at the hotel in an older sightseeing bus and driven to Silema where we were loaded onto a sightseeing boat called Supreme. It was chaotic boarding the boat having to trade our voucher for two wristbands at some random kiosk. The boat was crowded and lacked information about the trip. It took us to Gozo where most people left the boat and then we went to Comino. The boat ride took about 2 hours in total which is a long time sat! So we arrived on the rocky island of Comino with the Blue Lagoon. It was crazy busy with lots of ‘lads on tour,’ tacky food outlets and about 2 toilets for 1000 people, which were a disgrace. If you like playing sardines on a rocky outcrop with no space to sit or swim it might be for you😞. It’s clearly a hugely profitable tourist attraction 💶💶💶 with little investment for those visiting. It’s a shame because generally Malta and Gozo are such great places to visit. A big shoutout to the chap renting deckchairs near the lagoon who had to intervene due to the poor behaviour by a group of chaps who were rather the worse for wear, he managed a tricky situation very well. Not a nice experience - then a 2 hour boat journey back in the dark 😴
