A must see, book early to avoid disappointment
德伦城堡的点评
点评：We hadn't realised that visits were by guided tour only so popped into the cathedral first then discovered the next two tours were sold out. Luckily there was room two hours later and we were able to wait I'd advise heading into the library for tickets before planning your day.
The tour only lasts 45 minutes but is excellent. There are parts of the castle you can't visit as it is occupied by University students, something I was unaware of, what an amazing place to board when studying away from home.
Russell, our tour guide was brilliant, very informative and definitely knows his stuff and has a great interest in the place. I should really have asked if he had studied here as he clearly has an affinity with the place.
I'm sure he has many more stories than time allowed for.
At £7.50 a ticket this is an absolute bargain, I didn't expect to prefer it to it's amazing next door neighbour
