点评:Plenty of parking outside the main entrance (after negotiating the last short section of road which is narrow and pot holed). Entrance to the gardens (house is not normally open to visitors) is through the gatehouse (where restroom facilities are located). We spent over 2hrs wandering around the world garden, church, lake and woodland. The world garden is certainly something different, containing a diverse range of plants from across the continents as well as sculptures (the Baobab wire structure is particularly impressive and lifelike). We also met the enthusiastic Tom in the plant sales area, where there’s a wide variety of reasonably priced items to take home. The cafe is situated inside a marquee with views across the lawn, serving a selection of freshly made sandwiches to order, plus cakes and drinks. As a participant in the RHS partner garden scheme, entrance is free for members.
