点评：I reviewed this Sunday car boot sale almost 5 years ago, and expressed my disappointment in how it had deteriorated. Since then I have only visited twice more, on both occasions being disappointed. Today, with good weather, I decide to give it another chance, and I can only say that I should have stayed at home. I don't think there was a genuine car booter there, it is just a traders market, even if selling used goods, prices are high, and bargains are hard to find. A probable reason is the high cost of a pitch, the smallest at 10 foot starts at £20, so taking that into account, plus the likelihood that some of your items will quite possibly be stolen, it probably explains why the real car booter, trying to dispose of their own unanted items, have deserted it.
For years a meat van did a roaring trade, in fact for a while there were two, now none. I would estimate that, compared to about 10 years ago, it is about 20% of the size.
I can now say, with 100% certainty, that I will never return.
