点评：Without a shadow of a doubt the most famous building in Liverpool is The Royal Liver Building.
Constructed between 1908-1911 and built from designs from architect Walter Aubrey Thomas ,its consided to be the first skyscraper in the United Kingdom and was at one time one of the tallest buildings in Europe and was one of the first buildings in the world to be constructed from reinforced concrete, the building is topped by the two beautiful mythical Liver birds which are called Bertie & Bella and stand 18 feet high who look out over the city ,designed by Carl Bernard Bartels ,they have become the emblem of the city ,the clocks are amazing to view aswell, bigger than the clock faces on Big Ben in London, its such a beautiful building, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Pier Head but best views in my opinions are from Strand Street.
