The town that you cannot see in one day!!
Southport Marine Lake的点评
点评：Wonderful place, so very much to do. Folk do not realise that this town has so very much to offer. It is set out in almost horizontal adjoining roads, so, starting at the coastal road with brilliant views across to Wales/Blackpool and the Pennines (on a clear day)! Along here is ten pin bowling, 7 film cinema, eateries, hotel, great and varied shopping too. The next row has the Kings gardens area with its brilliant (and free) play area, model village, boating lake, arcades, kiosks, access to fair ground etc. All previous mentioned can be accessed easily. The pier and Theatre that are on this level are both closed for either refurb or permanent closure. Plenty of cut throughs to your next level which is the famous Lord Street with numerous shops, more hotels, fountains and bandstand, if you have the time the final area is full of shops too, there are plenty of cut throughs to this area (Chapel St) which houses the station also. All of the close villages, have great things to see and do also, especially Churchtown! Southport has so much unfortunately the council do not work on the pluses! :(
ps Do not forget to look our for our annual events too, lots of them, inc Air show, Flower show, Firework comps. Go man go!
