From the outset, customer service was underwhelming. Staff seemed disengaged and offered little guidance, which made navigating the spa confusing. We were denied entry to several areas without explanation, and no one proactively explained how the system worked or what was included in our visit.
The lack of signage and clear directions added to the frustration. We wasted a considerable amount of time trying to locate the massage room, which was tucked away in an obscure part of the building. And had to keep going through public areas to get to. By the time I arrived, I was more stressed than relaxed.
I had paid extra for access to the sauna facilities, but after a some minutes I was called out from one by a staff member, who vaguely told me I needed a towel. After some confusion and trying to figure out what I’d done wrong, I was eventually pointed to a sign showing swimwear symbols crossed out. This was never communicated beforehand, and the lack of clear instructions made the whole experience frustrating.
While the spa itself has potential, the operational and service shortcomings made it difficult to fully enjoy. A little more attention to guest experience and communication would go a long way in making this place truly restorative.
