A good museum if you haven't been before but it is quite pricey and doesn't quite deliver as much as it promises.

点评：I used to come regularly before this museum was rebranded more than a decade ago, the last time I came was 2014. I came with a friend who hadn't been for more than 20 years. The first impression isn't brilliant as you are not given a map or guide to follow - you need to take a photo of one. To be honest this isn't a huge issue but entrance isn't cheap so you kind of expect one. We were disappointed that the large Cornish engine isn't in steam due to long-standing maintenance issues. The initial displays are very good in terms of explaining the role of the pumping station and specifically how sewage has been processed over the years then one comes into the engine hall to see some of the small engines in steam. The highlight was seeing the Bull engine being powered up. I was hoping to see a good display of model railways so was a little disappointed to find a single circuit layout with just 2 trains going round and round and round again although I did recognise at least one of the railway enthusiasts from years ago when they had some amazing displays. All in all this is a nice museum but it is relatively expensive and over promises.
