Our favourite beach in the South East.

点评：We come to this beach a few times every year from London. We tend to drive down very early so that we can get a parking space near the pier as it gets full very quickly on sunnier days.
There is easy access down some steps to the beach if you come in this way or if you come in from the top expect a lot of steps down the centre steps.
Lots to do here, from playing in the sea, crabbing, activities for kids, the Punch and Judy shows are well worth a watch, there are loungers and parasols available at an extra cost if you don't like to sit on the sand.
Dogs aren't allowed on this beach sadly through the summer though so it's not one we can visit very often but it's great for a family day out when the sun is shining. Lots of fish and chip shops, ice creams, arcades and beach wear shops nearby and public toilets available.
