We attended during the Jurassic Furzey event about midday during the week. The £10 entrance was by donation, and there are options for additional purchases such as a dinosaur map and cardboard binoculars for £3 which we did get.
There is a cafe on site with toilets. There is a small selection of cakes, ice creams and a couple of savoury items. I was served the best scone I think I’ve ever had (and I have had many…) The gardens themselves were beautiful and teeming with wildlife. There are fairy houses that children can look for on a map which you can collect at the cafe for free. There is also a park with climbing trees, swings and a fort. Furzey Gardens strikes me as leaning more child-orientated than other gardens I have been too. But that was exactly what we were looking for.
