How rude and no signs

点评：Whilst the views may be lovely from the oldest pier, the staff on the other hand were certainly not.
When buying our tickets I requested two singles as we were aware that the service stops at 3:30pm. The staff member in the ticket office barked back super saver is cheaper. I explained we were only using the service one time to which they responded with it is only for one day and prices were then exchanged. My husband made the mistake of joking about selling the ticket the other end and it was not received well.
We then walked through to the train service where we were privileged to hear 2 staff members talking in a disrespectful manor about their Chairman. My husband showed our tickets and was told you’ll need them for the ferry.
We boarded the train and sat waiting for 20 minutes but it was too hot so we took the decision to walk instead.
We walked all the way through to the ferry and a team member passed us before alighting the bridge at the end of the pier, as we reached the gate it was abruptly shut in front of us and we were told very rudely to wait in the waiting room as we could board for 25 minutes.
The waiting room itself could do with some TLC and could make a super little cafe for waiting folk.
In all we were excited for this lovely crossing on the way to watch The 100.
Some better explanation and signage could make such a difference in suitable positions
