Poor service at Manor Farm Cafe

点评：On Sat 5 April afternoon, I went to Manor Farm cafe for coffee and cake. I asked for a piece of cake from the display, but the one that was selected for me by the person serving was the shrivelled end piece, half the size of the others - there were at least six other pieces that could easily have been selected. Basically it was not what I had seen and ordered - it was 'not fit for purpose'.
When I challenged this, all I got was a muttered "sorry" said with what appeared to be a smirk on her face, and no offer to change it for another piece of cake. I left the matter as it was as other people were waiting to be served, but if I get such service again I will go further next time even if it inconveniences other customers
I do hope difference and rude behaviour to customers is not going to be the norm there.
In contrast, I regularly use the 'rival' Barnfield cafe where service is wonderful and the staff friendly.
