点评:We’ve had a brilliant time at Cairnie in the past and have visited regularly. When we came this week, two of the four sledges in the play area were out of action, many of the go-karts were part-broken, the door to the ladies toilet was stuck half way and people were having to squeeze sideways through it, and the temporary-looking toilets outside seemed to be locked the whole time, leaving a ridiculous queue for the main ones which smelled horrendous and were covered in mess and toilet paper.
Dirty tables and chair cushions, hugely expensive cafe - I think the baked potatoes were almost £12 which is insane. The kids’ meal deal used to include a homemade cookie which made it stand out from other places but now they just get a pack of biscuits like you’d get at a conference or free in a hotel room. The Smartie cookies are now £2.50 a pop at the counter.
I am also pretty certain I saw a sign saying no dogs in the Funyard but there was a dog loudly barking and jumping around the children without anyone remotely bothered, and two more down in the strawberry tunnels (which again I thought weren’t for dogs other than service/assistance dogs).
Needs a good clean and review of the essential facilities.
