Marigold Festival was good, but be aware of garden closing times…

点评：Osterley Park is a good day out for families and couples. The Marigold Festival in the house was interesting.
However, do be aware about the closing times for parts of the property. It would seem that the last entry for the gardens, at least at the end of October, is 3:00pm. Sadly, we had a negative experience with this as the National Trust website at the time of writing does state it closes at 4:00pm, and it is only in very small writing on the garden gate does it say last entry is at 3:00pm, which is not especially useful because you only find out this information when you are about to enter, making this information redundant.
Despite this, we spoke to the very kind and gracious property manager, Chris, who took us around the garden and was very informative and more than made up for the negative experience we had a few minutes prior. We went away much happier!
Additionally, the shop was very nice as well, and the members of staff there were very helpful and happy.
Overall, I would recommend a visit, but be mindful of closing times.
