Prepare to queue for drinks/cake

点评：We hadn’t booked a parking space as didn’t think it would be necessary. However, it was a Sunday and the sun was shining so we blagged our way in and eventually parked up. A slight trek to the entrance but quite manageable for the average person.
House was lovely , but we had to wait a while as only 55 people allowed in at any one time. The costume display was vey interesting.
We then took a walk down to the old castle area, which provides some stunning vistas.
A slow walk back up the tea room followed. The queue was very long and it took an age to actually get our coffees. Given it’s a Sunday and bound to be busy I would have thought there would have been more staff on tap to speed things along. Don’t get me wrong, the staff are all very pleasant but just felt it needed a nudge from a senior manager to get things moving.
Overall a very nice day.
