点评:We took an early morning stroll (a long walk from our hotel) to visit this historic part of Plymouth. We were expecting to enjoy visiting a grand collection of historic buildings part of Plymouth’s maritime history along with some browsing around the shops etc. - what a disappontment! I feel the repurposing of the site is a huge opportunity missed for Plymouth. If you fancy wandering around a place wondering what exactly goes on there, fill your boots. There were signs directing you to places that didn’t exist - well we couldn’t find them. And an overall depressing feeling about the place. It really is one of the most unwelcoming, bizarre places we have visited, with hardly anywhere open for business. Oh and there are no public toilets.
The only positive about the place was the wonderful ferry (5 stars) that took us out of the place to Edgcumbe. Our return journey took us to the Barbican, so apart from a short ferry stop en route we didn’t set foot there again.

这里唯一的优点是乘坐渡轮(五星级)前往埃奇库姆,这趟渡轮很棒。回程我们去了巴比肯艺术中心,所以除了中途短暂停留的渡轮外,我们就没有再去过那里。
