Our favorite winery tour in the foothills of Florence

点评：This is truly an amazing winery, estate and family story. We were lucky enough to hear about the tour through our Airbnb host, who connected us with Giovanna Bartolini Baldelli, our amazing guide for the tour and tasting. She is so passionate about the estate, the wine and olive oil and her stories are so fascinating. As you walk the grounds of the 16th century estate, you can see the rolling hills of Florence and fabulous views you won't forget. We could have spent hours here, walking through the garden, visiting the little church that's part of the estate, touching ancient olive trees and smelling lemons in large terracotta pots. Giovanna is a member of the family and her stories go way beyond your average wine tour. We bought some wine and they shipped it to us back to the States and it arrived very quickly (within 3 weeks). We highly recommend this tour if you're in Florence or Chianti. We stayed in a house in northern Chianti and the winery was very close and easy to find. Don't miss it!
