Footplate ride.
Northampton & Lamport Railway的点评
点评：I visited with my mum and my husband on a very hot Sunday.
We got there at midday and parked very easily.
I had bought my husband a footplate ride for his birthday.
We booked in really quickly and then went to the gift shop where he filled in a safety form. The volunteers were all so friendly and knowledgeable.
We waited at the cafe and had a lovely ice cream whilst we waited.
At two o clock they told Tony they were ready for him and me and mum settled into a carriage.
The journey is so pretty and we enjoyed the lovely views. We went back and forth and it lasted 45 minutes.
After we got off Tony was full of praise.
The engine driver and his trainee were really informative and knew all the answers to questions.
They gave little details that you might not even think of.
We had a really lovely afternoon out at a really good price ( only £30 for the footplate experience).
