Nice park and playground but avoid events

点评：We've been visiting the park over the past few years and have to say, after doing the dino trail for half term, have decided now is the time to give it a wide birth. Outrageously priced and poor quality events.
We paid £6 per child for the dino trail (we were charged full price for a 2 year old). We hadn't realised that there would be no dino models on this trail, just information boards with pictures, this wasn't too enticing for the children and we had to really jolly them around the loop. Also they weren't able to access it due to the reading level. Even the older children in our group needed the adult to read the board and identify the answer.
The 'prize' was a bouncy ball or a rubber dino key ring - I cannot believe I paid £12 for two bouncy balls - better to have taken a couple of prizes with us and walked the loop which you can do for free....
The parking cost on top off the trail price made for an expensive activity which was disappointing. Having tried the easter trail last year and also feeling it left a lot to be desired, I think we've learnt not to go for events in the future.
Stick to using it as a nice park for a walk and a playground (but beware of parking complications!)
