Benromach Distillery的点评
点评：We recently visited the Benromach Distillery and did the Mastery Tour. Hands down the best value for money distillery tour we did out of the 6 Scotch distilleries we visited, on top of it being a great tour overall.
We had Bob as our guide - coming from Edinburgh, he had a soft and poetic "accent", very easy to understand (as someone from Asia) and very pleasant to listen to. He's also very knowledgeable about whisky and the distillery, which allowed all the whisky geeks on the tour to bombard him with questions we've been dying to ask.
It was great to tour the distillery while it's in actual operations. Some distilleries are in quiet season in July, so you don't always get to see things in action.
The crown of this trip though is the tasting, which came with 6 drams.
We started with their new make spirit, which was actually quite enjoyable. We then jumped straight to 21 year old, followed by a Distillery Exclusive.
The next 3 were so amazing, I would do the Master Tour all over again just for the tasting. You're given 3 ultra-aged whiskies. I assume the selection will differ from tour to tour based on the availability. But the ones we got were
- 42 years single cask from 1977
- 44 years single cask from 1975
- 40 years 2022 release batch 2
Now, this tour is £95 per person. You would easily pay more than that for 1 dram of any of the last 3 (if you can actually find it in your whisky bar).

- 1977年装瓶、陈酿42年的单桶威士忌
- 1975年装瓶、陈酿44年的单桶威士忌
- 2022年发布、陈酿40年的第二批装瓶威士忌
这次之旅的费用为每人95英镑。不过，哪怕只是要买到上述任意一款威士忌的一小杯，价格也很容易就超过这个数额（当然前提是你能在酒馆里找到它们）。
