AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE in IMPRESSIVE SURROUNDINGS

点评：We only get to overnight in vibrant Galway occasionally, and when we do, we look out for a good Dinner venue : for all that we're not heavy "Foodies", we're still mourning the loss of Enda & Sinéad's "Loam" and regretting that our intermittent visits to Galway didn't include getting to dine @ "Éan".
Anyway, as life - sometimes sadly - moves on, we were delighted to dine @ "Kirwans Lane", very close to Galway's centre. The premises/surroundings are excellent (particularly on the Ground Floor), the Menus (predominantly Seafood) are impressive, their Wine-List is less than ordinary (including delights such as Weissburgunder & Falanghina), and their Staff are warm, charming and efficient from beginning to end.
My "Better Half" M hugely enjoyed a "Tuna Special" dish, while I was less impressed with the 10oz Sirloin which, while cooked to order, was, sadly, very tough. Our accompanying Bottle of "Weissburgunder" pleased both of us. Their Breads are extremely tasty, as are their appropriately cooked Chips.
Overall, our Bill seemed reasonable, but perhaps E 3-80 for a Green Tea & E 4.00 for an Espresso is pushing it a bit ?
All said, we hope to come back here again.....
