点评：I loved this delightful little museum in Ennis with its wealth of local history. The two receptionists Julie and Carmel were among the most pleasant helpful people I have ever met in a tourist site. They go out of their way to help the visitor. I thought the recordings of the old people telling their life stories was wonderful and I wish other Irish towns would take this on board. A new piece of information for me was that Irwin. the 7th man to walk on the moon, took the irish flag to the moon on his trip. He also left shamrock at the landing site. When he returned to earth he presented the flag and the badge from his space suit to the Irish President. They were both in the museum. The museum has so many historical items including De Valera's Dodge. With the letters U and E representing the words Uchtaran no h-Eireann ( President of Ireland) and the Irish harp on top it was well worth viewing no matter what one's political views. A thoroughly enjoyable visit to a wonderful museum.
