Pendennis Castle的点评
点评：We like to support English Heritage, and this is one of their sites in Falmouth.
Fairly small car park and a fair distance to walk for the entrance, although there is a drop off point.
Having visited on a Thursday, we were delighted to be guided around by Sheena. A local lady so passionate about this site and incredibly knowledgeable. We explored every avenue she suggested after we left her, as unusually this site had no guided nap given. It would have been so easy to have missed places of great interest. Totally enjoyed our time listening intensively to her.
The site has many outbuildings dotted around, there are sign posts to guide you. A nice cafe, shop and museum, so plenty to see and do, well worth a visit. We came away far more knowledgeable as to the role this Castle played in our history, and so hope they bring back the annual jousting events. More funding support for ongoing conservation projects for this English Heritage site.
