Portmarnock Beach的点评
点评：Ireland has many great beaches but this is definitely my favourite. Golden velvet sands and clear blue waves throughout the year.
My swim this morning in August was balmy (relatively speaking!) at 17 degrees in the water. Beautiful views of Lambay Island and Howth although the vistas are always different.
A varied group of us swim here all year round, mostly from the Shelters which are public and just down the main steps to the beach. A public shower was also added last year.
Winter the sea temp drops significantly, to as low as 5 or 6 degrees in February and March. Snow and ice on the sand are a highlight plus strong chill winds. Definitely a refreshing experience.
Wonderful group of people in the Shelters and always a good banter.
Weekends there is Yoga and various activities on the sands, always busy and fun, community atmosphere.
Tamangoes across the road may have closed ( like many Dublin nightclubs) but you can dance to Abba or Fontaines if you brave the winter chill as several resident DJs bang out warming tunes to help us thaw out. Dublin in the rain is mine/ours!
