Great tour of Castle but challenging stairs ascending and descending !

点评：One could spend a full dzy leusurrly exploribg Malahide Cadtle, its Exotic Butterfly farm and is walled gardens and other scenic trails. The complex also has a large food hourt run by Avoca as dell as a gelataria in summer.
Be aware however, before buying your ticket for the guided tour of the castle that there are SEVERAL staircases to walk up during the tour, to different levrlsvof the house. And a double storey spiral staircase to descend which can be tricky. This was never flagged to us when we bought the Ticket.
Moreover, we were never told that the castle would give us fold up stools to carry in case we needed to sit down during the 1 hour tour.
The tour guide was good, the Butterfly farm was stunning and the walled gardens was meticiously laid out.
We enjoyed the afternoon at the castle but struggled to climb up and down the stairs and could have used fold out seats.
But the ticket office never told us of either.
