Lovely morning out in nature
Tyland Barn Nature Park的点评
点评：Visited on a Saturday morning with our 2 girls who enjoyed running around and exploring. They had fun in the mud kitchen and we saw lots of butterflies and unusual insects.
We booked onto the pond dipping which was led by Matthew who was great with the kids and very entertaining as well as knowledgeable. It was a fantastic experience and we even got to see the creatures under the microscope, everything from dragonfly and damselfly nymphs to pond snails and whirligig beetles.
We followed up with lunch in the cafe. They didn’t have anything on the menu for the kids but were happy to make up sandwiches and beans on toast. The food took a while but it was very nice and the barn is a lovely environment.
The site itself isn’t huge so unless there is an activity/event I guess you wouldn’t need a long time here but certainly worth a visit to be immersed in nature.
