Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum的点评
点评：It was a rainy and windy day when we visited the museum, so found a car park out the back not far from the entrance. We were told that we would need a permit to park there (only 3 cars in probably a 20 car space car park). All around the museum were ONE HOUR PARKING restrictions - normally one would go to a museum for more than one hour so the parking side of things is very poorly planned (or not even considered by Bathurst City Council) for what should be a major tourist attraction. There should be dedicated parking available, and no doubt a bus set down/pick up area as well. We ended up parking in a shopping centre car park (3 hour limit) which we thought should not have been necessary.
However, the museum itself is a very worthwhile experience with excellent displays, descriptions and amazing lighting to highlight the individual displays - from minerals to dinosaurs.
We spent over an hour and 1/2 in the museum and thoroughly enjoyed it.
