Dunbeg Fort的点评
点评：Dunbeg Fort was one of the first stops along our Slea Head Drive. We pulled into the parking lot by the cafe/gift shop. We bought our ticket at the booth across the street but was recommended to see the short movie in the gift shop before visiting.
The coffee shop was quite busy and handling a lot of orders that morning. You just have to scoot by the crowds to get into the gift shop. The theatre was on the right side. The movie ran continuously and provided some context to the fort and people who built and lived in it.
When we finally headed down to the fort, we were not expecting to see much given the amount of damage it incurred during a heavy storm. That collapsed one of the That was too bad as the rest of the site was fenced off so we could just was around about half of it.
There were some nice views of the nearby cliffs and coastline. Given the amount of sites to visit on the Slea Head Drive then this could be skipped if pressed for time.
