点评：Just back from a day trip to Beamish museum I was in a coach party of 50 ladies we arrived at about 10.15 the weather was lovely and sunny but we had heavy downpours of rain I went with my friends 6 of us altogether i tried to get on the tram but I couldn’t manage the tram steps the tram driver told me about the service bus with a lift at the back of the bus he kindly radio the service bus for me only stood 2-3 minutes and the service bus was there i couldn’t get on the double decker Buses because they were to high for me to get on due to due arthritis in my knees so I was allowed to go on the service bus for wheelchairs and people with mobility issues the two staff of the bus the driver and the assistant were so caring and very helpful the assistant helping me to get on and off the lift at the back of the bus they allowed my friends to travel with me the staff in the cafe (when you first go in) the staff in the tea rooms restaurant and the staff in the Victorian sweet shop and the gift shop staff were all welcoming and very kind nothing was too much trouble all staff were very polite in serving you we visited the 1950’s town and the Victorian town there was so much to see we didn’t get to see everything we wanted to go to the pit village and colliery but we ran out of time as we we’re due back on the coach at 4 Beamish is a wonderful place to visit it’s stepped in history of bye gone years I would highly recommend it from children to adults
