I first saw Hot Ice back in 1998 with my parents. I was a child, completely mesmerised by the glittering costumes, electrifying choreography, and sheer magic on the ice. It became one of those special memories I’ve carried with me ever since.
Over the years, I’ve returned to the show several times, but this visit held particular significance. My father sadly passed away in June, and coming back to Hot Ice so soon after felt like a way to honour him. Sitting in the arena brought back vivid memories of that first visit with my father and mother, and I found comfort in the familiarity—the music, the lights, the elegance. The performance felt like a tribute to all those moments we shared.
XS was truly outstanding. The level of artistry, athleticism, and passion on display was second to none. Each routine was flawlessly executed, filled with energy and emotion. The lighting, costume design, and musical choices created a spectacle that was both exhilarating and moving. It’s a show that doesn’t just entertain—it uplifts.
Last year, I brought my own son to experience Hot Ice for the first time. Watching his face light up, seeing that same spark I remember feeling in 1998, was deeply moving. This show now spans three generations of memories in my family, and that’s something incredibly special.
