点评：We had a great day as a family of 4 (kids are 5 and 10). I was a bit worried having read some of the reviews but needn’t have been. My older child and partner loved some of the thrill rides while the tamer ones were great for my younger child. There were plenty we all enjoyed, too. The pirate show was a lot of fun and the splash play area was refreshing on a hot day. We finished the day with a walk round the zoo, which is beautiful and well-maintained with lots of grass and trees. It’s worth getting one of the refillable souvenir cups and we had fish & chips for lunch followed by ice cream. We spent about 60 quid in total on food and drink, which I thought wasn’t too bad. Another good tip is to go straight to the back of the park at opening to go on the bigger rides there that get longer queues. Also, if you’re in a queue at 4.59pm you’ll be allowed on the ride even though the advertised closing time is 5pm. Some bits of the park needed some maintenance and more staff cleaning throughout the day (toilets and also litter picking) would have made the experience a 5 out of 5.
