Woburn Safari Park的点评
点评：As a family of 4 we did the "giraffe experience ' for a birthday .
We went out of season ( march ) and as such had no qué times at all. Everything happened as it should and was very smooth. The only downside was the cafe. A little limited on the menu for some one looking for a low calorie healthy option ( jacket spud option not available). That said plenty of space out doors for a picknick and an option I would consider on our next visit which we will definitely undertake.
More to the point however was our VIP giraffe experience. Our Guide Helen was a star and a credit to Woburn. She was very knowledgeable on all the animals at the park I had questions about. Easy going and came across as a genuinely interested and dedicated member of the team.
We started off hand feeding the giraffe in the the giraffe house. A for life memory that's for sure. Then off on "Safari ". The 4 of us joined Helen in a well used Land Rover( any other vehicle would not have been right!). We had a few behind the scenes views ( elephant enclosure) and then joined the safari route. The difference we had over every one else was our in vehicle guide giving us the lowdown on what we were looking at. Not only that but while everyone else had to stay on the road Helen drove us off road to get the best views and up close and personal with the magnificent beasts! With her knowledge and experience of the animals she knew where they would most likely be.
In summery a fantastic day out for all 4 of us. Not a cheap day but what is for a family of 4 with the level of memories we all have taken away.
