点评:I can't really say anything about the beach- March isn't the time of year for beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the Old Harry Rocks and over the downs. What we didn't enjoy was the car park. Frustrated or what. Firstly, we are not national trust members; secondly, we don't carry much cash- who does these days, and certainly not coins. Third, the mobile signal at Studland is not great. I was heartened to find a ticket machine with one of those bits that read your card, but was not happy to find that it only reads national trust membership cards. Tried downloading the app (yet another different parking app to add to my collection) but with little success. Tried ringing the phone number, but it just said 'download the app'. Tried the pub for some change but they are cashless. Eventually drove to a shop to get a £10 note changed. Put proper money in the machine and after 35 mins of total frustration, got a ticket. Come on National Trust- you overcharge for your car parks. The least you could do is put up-to-date machines that read bank cards in your car parks. Or are you just trying to make life difficult for those of us who are not members? So, if you are not a national trust member, and you want to use the carpark (there's no alternative), I suggest you take a pocket full of £1 coins.
