Over rated and not for me...
Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop的点评
点评：This is a popular stop with coaches on their way to or from Scotland. It has a large car park and the toilets are excellent - some of the nicest I've used.
The positives end there. The tourist shop was expensive compared with elsewhere and there was little that couldn't be bought in other places.
Even though it was lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't busy - having seen the food (and price) I wasn't surprised.... The quick food place was busier but again was a disapoointing selection of hot food (which smelt greasy and unappetising) and prices were expensive.
There are a few seats where you can sit and eat your own food and many of us were doing that.
I didn't bother with the that famous blacksmith's shop or musem....
As you may have gathered, I wan't enamoured by our visit and felt the place was over hyped and a bit tacky. I can understand the attraction it may have for others but it didn't work for me.....
If you are wanting a place to stop, eat and shop, there are lots of better choices...
