The Battle of Bannockburn Experience的点评
点评：If, as we did, you plan to go for the nostalgia of replaying the battle map room game interactively with your fellow guests, as you may have done prior to 2021, you will be disappointed to hear that this has been entirely removed, for several years now, due the technology having broken, seemingly irreparably. The large room with screens surrounding you is also now highly compromised, with the exhibits which once came to life and described some historical fragment all now entirely static, and the battle scenes which surround you are no longer part of an immersive automated show but driven manually as a series of short replays by your guide, and now unfortunately look dated and worn out. The only redeeming feature is the highly knowledgable tour guide, who does a very engaging and energetic presentation in the map room explaining the history of the battle. This is all the more a shame, because the guides, whose enthusiasm for educating about history is so obvious, deserve far better than to have to plod round the broken remains of a once fully engaging exhibit that now is just a sorry reminder of something you may have taken your family or friends to several years ago while it was still functioning as intended.
