An amazing whiskey experience

点评：My wife and I did the Jameson Black Barrel blending experience. We've always wanted to do a distillery tour and this tour has most definitely lived up to our expectations. The tour guide, Gavin was like an encyclopedia of whiskey history and knowledge and he was very friendly and energetic.
He gave us a brief history of John Jameson and how he got into Whiskey. From there, we were brought to the blending room, where we sampled 2 different levels of Black Barrel, 40% and 60%. We then went through and tasted the various whiskeys that make up the Black Barrel. We then used these different whiskeys to make our own blends, which we then got to take away as we left. 2 50ml bottles each.
The entire experience lasted 90 minutes but because it was so engaging and interesting, it felt like 40 minutes.
We would strongly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in and likes the taste of whiskey... but do organise transport home as you will not be driving!
